Hello!
Welcome to the story of Black Bess, a once very ordinary family car. Bess has amassed a wonderful, if not checkered history.

Missing for 12 years, here you’ll be able to look back on the story of how I came to know her, lose her, and find her again. It’s also where you can follow her long journey back onto the road. Have a look at the blog to read more. There are two types of update:

A look back: This is where you can learn about the amazing history of Black Bess. The highs, the lows, the polished chrome, and the rust. Her fascinating story will all be uncovered here.

The journey: These posts will chronicle the extensive restoration needed to get Bess back on the road. It won't be quick, easy or cheap, but I'm determined to make it fun and informative.

#MindYourMind
While we’re talking about the future, I’ll be using the story of Bess to raise awareness for Mind – The charity that provides support and empowerment for people living with mental ill health. Some of 'the journey' blog posts will detail why I've chosen Mind, and how I'll be looking to use the story of Bess to help others care for their own mental wellbeing.

Feel free to have a nose around. You can follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook if you want to be notified of updates as they happen. Otherwise, check back from time to time to see the latest.

For now, thanks for visiting.

Elliot.
